Designed to Flourish

 I long to live life to the fullest — to flourish and to thrive. But many days fall short. In fact, on some days I feel as though I am only surviving.

Society suggests and some articles written by "experts" insist that an abundant life can be found by:

   Acquiring more knowledge (education)
   Acquiring material resources, or even
   Acquiring technology

However, God's way for thriving is different from society's way. I can only flourish when I experience my God-given design and fulfill God's purposes in a surrendered life to Him.

   I was created in God's image.

So God created man is His own image, in the image of God he created him: male and female he created them. (Genesis 1:27 NIV)

   I was created for work that he has prepared for me to do.

For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. (Ephesians 2:10 NIV)

   I was created to participate in His divine nature.

  …He has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature… (I Peter 1:14 NIV)

True flourishing is only possible living as I was created to be. Will you join me to thriving in our unique design?
