In Psalm 1 King David describes two paths in the journey of life. He says there is:
The way of the world characterized by wickedness. The theme song of the people on this path is the iconic song by Frank Sinatra, "I Did It My Way."
The way of the Lord is characterized by wisdom coming from His Word. The theme of the people on this path is a prayer, "Not my will but yours, Oh God."
In essence, we make a choice—living our way or His way. Both paths have difficulties but only one yields fruitfulness and joy. Join me on the path of righteousness this week.
