The Source of Living Water is always near on my journey. But sometimes when the terrain becomes rugged, I look to satisfy my thirst in other places – all to no avail. Settling for lesser water will never satisfy.
What are the lesser waters in my life? Grabbing control or working more and more. However, they never seem to quench the thirst. It is sort of like being hungry on my way to Thanksgiving Dinner and stopping at the local gas station to eat two hotdogs. How sad. But is this not what I do with the Living Water?
Oh God, help me resist the temptation to settle for less than what will completely satisfy. Join me this week drinking deeply of the Living Water.
